Voxiebox: World's First Holographic Gaming System

What if you cold play games with holographic characters like in Star Wars? Voxiebox is a holographic display, a glasses-free 3D device that is the first-ever volumetric entertainment system.

The Voxiebox is equipped with a projector that shines a regular 2D picture upwards to the screen you are looking at it, but it creates the 3D effect by constantly vibrating the screen in an up and down motion. The screen oscillates at a rate of 20 hertz, which to the naked eye stacks into a moving picture that appears to have depth, displaying a consistent 3D image in all angles. The image resolution is low, but enough for you to hold a gamepad in your hand and control a holographic image. Imagine playing a simple game like chess remotely.

Voxiebox: World's First Holographic Gaming System

VOXON is the maker of Voxiebox, the world's first holographic game system. Utilizing volumetric display technology, Voxiebox is uniquely capable of generating points of light within a volume of space, and in doing so enables the creation of truly 3D multiplayer gaming experiences that can be viewed from any angle without 3D glasses.
