The second screen on its back contains e-ink that stay "fixed" even without power, saving battery life. It can also be used as a traditional e-reader, performing better in broad daylight than typical LCDs.
In reading mode the phone can last 7 to 10 times longer than other smartphones. The phone is going to cost about 500 euros ($680), with a U.S. launch date unknown.
